Dominic sat down in the confession booth and waited for the Father to return from his office. A light shined through the dividing metal mesh separating the conjoined areas for confessor and Priest. He felt his heart rate increase as footsteps grew louder, approaching his location.
The Father’s door opened and he sat down in his seat. There was a long period of silence before he spoke to Dominic. “Lying is a sin.”
